The mission of the Urban Educators Foundation, Inc. is to
assist in providing highly qualified educators to teach in
urban cities across America. The Urban Educators Foundation
of Baltimore provides scholarships to persons who are
teaching in urban areas for continuing education, as well as
grants for teachers who are seeking state
certification. The foundation also provides high-quality
professional development and programs to promote high
achievement for students. This foundation will benefit
thousands of urban students by providing highly qualified
educators and activities in an effort to decrease the
disparities between teacher quality in urban and surrounding
areas. In addition, the foundation awards funds for programs
and enrichment activities for students.
